Native English speaker & Activities Animator
The Association Langues et Cultures is looking for dynamic teachers to work with young children ages 3 to 11. There are several teaching positions to be filled, on Wednesdays (morning and afternoon) or on holidays. (Other possibilities may arise though)
Primary job functions
to teach one or two groups of children who are learning English.
You are an energetic, autonomous person who enjoys teaching children. You are capable of following a weekly lesson plan (provided by Actilangues). Your teaching style is fun and “child friendly”. You always incorporate songs, games, music and crafts in your lesson plans. You are capable of teaching English by speaking in English. Implementing innovative ways to teach is very important.
Your extra-curricular hobbies interest the ALC !
If you are an artist, a musician, an excellent cook or a specialist of any sport - please let us know.
Those who have work experience with children will be given priority status in the hiring process.
You have a degree from a university, a 2 to 4 year college or recent TEFL/TESOL certification.
Work status and work hours
The Activities classes begin the first Wednesday of September.
The Wednesday teaching position is a part-time job.
Hours range from 3 to 9 hours on Wednesdays at both locations: Lyon and St Bonnet-de Mûre. You must have valid working papers.
